We are currently looking into how to improve the gates before repaving. Our focus is particularly on whether any of the wiring and conduit between the various panels and pieces of equipment needs to be replaced due to instability underground. There is evidence that some of the conduits have been cut or collapsed because our roads are built on a gravel base with only chipseal above. Typically, blacktop or cement spreads the load over a greater area.
